THE ELM PLACE PTO AND MEMBERSHIP
The Elm Place PTO is a recognized 501(c)3 charitable organization that provides educational and enriching programs and services for all children attending Elm Place Middle School and offers support to teachers and staff. Volunteering for the PTO is an excellent way for parents to become involved in their child's school; help serve food on Hot Lunch Days, join a committee, donate time or money. It is also an opportunity to meet new people.
Each year the Elm Place PTO compiles a phone book "Buzz Book"with all the important school phone numbers,staff e-mail addresses as well as home addresses and phone numbers for all students listed by advisory and also in alphabetical order. Local advertisements are also added to the book. Buzz Book purchases are included in PTO membership fees. We welcome your involvement in any way you can!
Basic Membership dues start at only $15, which covers the PTO membership fees and the cost to print the Buzz Book directory. Members receive a complimentary copy of the Buzz Book but are able to receive additional copies for additional member fees of $5 each.
Preordered Buzz Books will be distributed to you at Open House during your child’s advisory.

There are PTO meetings throughout the school year. We encourage you to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to share your ideas and concerns, provide input on PTO activities, and get updates on current School Board and District issues. Meeting dates and times are posted on the PTO website calendar and e-mail reminders are sent throughout the year.
Information about events and activities will be posted on this PTO website, displayed on our calendar and/or communicated via school emails.
